Conditions of Supply
Acceptance
By placing a booking you signify you have read and accepted these conditions of supply.
Prices and Currency
All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include Goods and Services Tax at the rate of 12.5% of the price.
All prices are quoted on a per person basis. Prices on a per child basis are available on request and are subject to availability.
All prices are current at the date of publication but are subject to alteration at our absolute discretion.
Accommodation
Accommodation is offered subject to the terms and conditions of the accommodation provider.
Accommodation prices are based on standard rooms on a share twin basis. Other rooms are available on request with any difference in price being payable by you. Where standard rooms are not available from the accommodation provider then any difference in price is payable by you.
Refunds
No refund is available for cancellations within 24 hours of departure or after departure or in respect of any travel, accommodation or other service made available but not used by you.
Refunds are available for earlier cancellations depending on the period of notice you give to us as follows:
- 2-7 days before departure 50% refunded.
- More than 7 days before departure 100% refunded less an administration charge of $25 per person which may at our discretion be charged and any applicable cancellation charge of any third party service provider included in the package.
Insurance
We recommend you arrange travel (including baggage) insurance, and if you are an overseas visitor full medical (including accident and sickness) insurance, best suited to your needs.
Smoke Free Environments Act 1990
Under the provisions of this legislation smoking is prohibited in any passenger transport vehicle while it is carrying customers. Requests for smoking/non-smoking rooms will be passed onto accommodation providers but cannot be guaranteed by us.
Customer Behaviour
We reserve the right to refuse to carry in or remove from any vehicle any person who is intoxicated, under the influence of any drug or otherwise behaves in a manner that is dangerous, obscene or offensive to other customers or the driver or who refuses to obey any reasonable request of the driver in these circumstances.
You agree not to enter or attempt to enter or leave any vehicle while it is moving.
You agree you will not to spit, consume food, drink intoxicating liquor, use drugs or deposit any offensive matter in any of our vehicles, nor deface or damage any of our vehicles or other property.
You agree you will not assault or threaten any driver of our vehicle or any other customer.
No animals are allowed in any of our vehicles except guide dogs accompanying a blind person who is a customer.
Where you damage any of our property you will be liable for the cost of repair and reinstatement of that property together with any other loss or damage or expense we may have suffered or incurred.
Luggage
Subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, we accept no responsibility for any luggage or other goods carried or left in any of our vehicles and we shall have no liability for any loss or damage suffered by you.
We will have the right to sell or otherwise dispose of any luggage or other articles left by you in any of our vehicles if they remain unclaimed for 3 months or more.
Consumer Guarantees Act 1993
Where you are a consumer you will have all the rights and remedies provided to you under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, but no others. Where you are acquiring our services for business purposes you agree that the provisions of that Act do not apply to any contract with you.
Limitation of Liability
Subject to the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, we shall not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any direct, indirect, special, economic or consequential loss or damage that you may suffer or incur as a result of the use of, or our failure to supply, our products and services or that otherwise arises from anything we have done.
Personal Privacy
Any personal information about you that is supplied to us will only be collected, stored and used by us for the purpose of providing our products and services to you and we will not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.
Where the Privacy Act 1993 applies to any of that personal information you are entitled to have access to that information and to correct any errors or omissions and we will comply with all of our obligations to you under that legislation.
